So you want to know more...

A few things about me that you might not know...

I am a procrastinating perfectionist who tries hard to keep it under control.

I am a tiny, a little, a bit hmm, time for the absolute truth, I am seriously  OCD at times to my poor husband and children's despair. I try hard to keep that under control too. 

After years of thinking I did not have any style, I finally realized I do!! I am a minimalist. 

I would be happy in the sparse, bare, impersonal model homes you see.

I would love to live in a house that have built in shelves with doors, of course, cabinets and other ways to make the space more functional.

I would love to be able to not see our stuff i.e. I like furniture such as armoires, book shelves that close, etc... 

In the same vein, I like bare walls; I make a huge exception to pictures though.

I adore pictures of my children but I never seem to develop, hang, or display them.

I despise cluttery, nick knacky things. I prefer items that have an actual purpose. I do not understand decorative objects thats purpose is to simply look at it.

I hate to clean but would love for my house to be immaculate constantly. 

I adore my boys and thank God daily for them but with my second actually wanted a girl. I now thank God daily that he did not give me one!

I have been with my husband almost my whole adult life. We met about a month after I turned 18, started dating a couple months later, and married a little over a year later.

I was raised in California, but grew up with a midwestern raised dad and a Californian raised mom so I have weird philosophies that do not always make sense especially to people in California!

I am a bargain shopper and have recently discovered the art of couponing. I hate paying full price for anything and cringe at other shoppers that do.
